About Me

I came from a long history of the school of hard knocks, not unlike a lot of people.  My life is not unique just different.

I struggled with a lot of adversity throughout my life and was too stubborn or pigheaded to give up, even after being hit by a transport truck and trying to overcome the lack of supports that was required.  I was struggling to figure out how to support myself as the support program that was available to me barely covered rent.  I tried many different things, but because my health made me so unreliable it made things very difficult.  Then one day I decided to sit down and write. I have tried writing different things on and off throughout my life, but I didn’t feel that they were good enough.  I was inspired to write this first children’s story in a series when my youngest daughter was going through some trials of her own and I was thinking of my grandchildren and remembering what my children went through when I divorced their father.  An idea sparked and a book was born.
